| Welcome! Visitors are always welcome at our meetings! Bring a friend, colleague, family member --ANYONE who shares a passion for fossils, gems and minerals! For more meeting information, see the Membership page. Our next meeting will be Thursday February 16, 2012 February program Ingrid Webster will be visiting us to talk about her Love and Peace Project also known as the “Neverending Necklace.” For those you who are new to the project, you will be intrigued by it’s scope. Having served dozens of Jewelers in Palm Beach County designing and repairing pearl jewelry, Ingrid has been working with beads since 1988. It was a natural jump for her to create a visually intriguing awareness project by using beads. At first the Love & Peace Project was merely a hobby which Ingrid could tend to only now and then. As the necklace grew and the Project took shape, it became clear that it was a lifetime commitment. Her plan is to find a permanent exhibit space where the beads can be visited throughout the year. Please visit her website www.addbeads.com for information about the necklace. Just how long is the necklace??? Come to the meeting and find out!
