We've made a couple minor changes in the class procedure. Instead of contacting the Class Coordinator, members are encouraged to contact the individual teachers to set up their classes. We hope this will result in a more streamlined process and allow everyone to get the class they want! NEW CLASS!! Kumihimo w/Kelly Azor Kumihimo is the wonderful technique of Japanese braiding! One of the benefits of membership with the Gem and Mineral Society is the ability to take our classes! We offer several classes in different genres of the hobby including: different jewelry making styles, faceting, cabachon cutting, and stained glass! Class fees vary from teacher to teacher. The society is a member of the Eastern Federation of Mineralogical & Lapidary Societies Inc. and the Southeast Federation of Mineralogical Societies, Inc., affiliated with the American Federation of Mineralogical & Lapidary Societies. Our members are able to participate in activities sponsored by these organizations. |
